Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are very happy to invite you to the 2nd World Congress on Alcohol and Alcoholism, joint meeting of the International Society for Biomedical Research on Alcoholism (ISBRA) and the European Society for Biomedical Research on Alcoholism (ESBRA). Both societies have chosen Cracow in Poland to be the host city. The Congress will be held from September 17 to 20, 2022.
We are planning a fascinating interdisciplinary scientific program that will meet expectations of all participants. We truly believe that the hospitable environment of Cracow will provide a venue for effective exchange of new research findings and ideas in a warm and friendly atmosphere, where innovative collaborations may develop.
2nd World Congress on Alcohol and Alcoholism is an international, interdisciplinary conference, gathering doctors and researchers of various specializations on the issue of alcohol use, mechanisms and treatment of alcohol dependence, and systemic complications related to chronic alcohol exposure, in particular alcoholic liver disease.
The conference will be attended by leading scientists from around the world, conducting research in these areas, as well as representatives of the most important institutions, scientific associations and specialist centers dealing with addiction issues. The program was based around three main themes, including biological, medical-clinical and psychosocial aspects as well as organ damage caused by alcohol drinking.
It is very important to us that the Congress becomes a place of substantive interdisciplinary cooperation and a field for discussion and exchange of views on addiction and liver diseases. Our wish is that the event will also bring together leading specialists in various fields of medicine from all over the World.
Your participation in the Conference is an honor and invaluable help. We hope that together we will manage to create a space for the exchange of knowledge, experience and innovative solutions in the treatment of addictions and complications caused by them..
On behalf of the Organizing Committee I am honored to welcome you in Cracow!
